A club located in the Southwest of England on the Devon/ Somerset border; actively involved in promoting the exciting sport of Horseback Archery in the UK.  We are also co-founders of Horseback Archery UK - www.hauk.org.uk

As a Club we take the sport of Horseback Archery very seriously and we hope to encourage people to get involved within the sport, and whether you wish to Participate, Support or Help, we are here to guide you and advise in anyway.

Horseback Archery was first introduced into this country only a few years ago; making it a relatively new sport to the UK; it has been practiced in small groups with various demos taking place that have been organized by SPTA - Society for the Promotion of Traditional Archery -by the renowned Bowyer and Archer Hilary Greenland. 

A few riders have qualified for the European Championship in Germany and a couple traveling to Korea for an International gathering.

Our aim and objective is to develop the sport for enthusiastic equine & archery minded people, wishing to try their hand and get involved with this existing Globally Expanding Sport.

However Horseback Archery should not be exploited as a quick thrill for joy riders nor is it encouraged as a theatrical entertaining joke for laughs; it is a very skillful sport which deserves to be treated with respect.
